Real Life

I have been thinking about what to type in here. What message to send out, what inspiration that would change the way we live our lives. I realized we live a real life. Not one of shelter or in a cave. People around us are struggling with their walk with the Lord. I know I struggle with things. I wondered if we ever take the time out of our own lives to check on our friends. Are they hurting, do they need the oil poured on. It seems to me, and I am speaking about myself, that we spend so much time fighting our battles, that after they are won we are always too tired to help hold up the hands of others fighting. Why is this? I know many times I have needed my arms held up during the battle and no one was able to help. I don't blame people anymore..I used too..I had to let it go and realize I am not perfect, not yet, and I shouldn't expect anyone else to be perfect either. Now saying that, I am not stating we aren't to strive to follow after the Spirit so we won't fulfill the lust of the flesh. And we are made perfect through Christ. But in real life, everyday life people get hurt, people are dying, people are reaching out. Are we really so happy sitting in our 10million dollar churchs to remember that Jesus left the 99 to go after the 1. He didn't say after the meetings, after the games, after the worship, he went right away without thought and without a care. Why aren't we? I have watched the prosperity message go out for the last 20 yrs. I believe in prosperity, I believe the Lord prospers me and meets all of my needs according to his riches in glory. That said its time to leave our believers meetings, motivational speakings, and hit the battlefields. We have got to reach the ones that are hurt in our churchs, and reach the lost. If we kill our own people, why would anyone else want to join the ranks? They wouldn't. So next time you see a brother or sister hurting or falling or just in need of a hug. Put aside yourself and remember how Jesus lived his life, never caring what anyone thought of him, said of him or even did to him. He died for you and I, isn't 10-20 mins helping someone else out a small price for us to pay? Be blessed, be healed, and remember Jesus is the only way to heaven.
